How to post a Property in Genz Property Listing

Step 1: Create an Account or Log In

1. Go to the Genz Property Listing website.
2. Click Login / Signup.
3. If you don’t have an account, click Signup and fill in your details: name, email, phone number, and password.
4. Verify your email address.

To log in or sign up, click on the Login/Signup button

Fill the signup form and click signup, then you will be redirected the the page below.

Remember to fill in the correct contact detailsils because they will be used to connect to clients.

Enter the OTP sent to your email and click verify. If you didn’t receive the otp, click on resend OTP. Then the next step is to log in, you will see a pop-up for a login form where you will be able to log in after successful otp verification.

Step 2: Click on the “Add Property” button

After logging in, find the option labeled Add New Listing, Post Property, or List Property in your account dashboard or main menu.

Click it to start creating your property listing.

Step 3: Fill in Property Details

You’ll now see a form asking for information about your property.

Here’s what you’ll need to provide:

You will need to add a unique title, Eg, “3 bedrooms for rent in Kikuyu”

For Category, if it is rental, the category is rent/sale if it is for sale.

Then, under the rent category, there is a subcategory of Per day/per month.

For airbnbs, hotels, and guest houses, the rent is per day, which is 24 hours

• Listing Type: Specify if the property is for sale or for rent.

If it is a monthly rental, there is no subcategory.

Then the next step is to provide the description and the price.

• Description: Write a short, appealing summary of your property. Highlight its best features, like modern finishes, great views, or proximity to transport and shops. Includes the features/amenities of your property.

• Location / Address: Include the county, sub-county, and neighborhood or area. Be as specific as possible.

• Photos: Upload clear, high-quality images of both the interior and exterior. Genz allows up to 7 photos per listing

Step 4: Review and Publish

Before submitting:

• Double-check that all details are correct.
• Make sure your photos look good and are in the right order.

Then click Submit Property

Some listings may go through an approval process before they appear on the site.

Step 5: Manage Your Listings

Once your property is live, you can:

• Edit or update information (like price or photos)
• Delete it when it’s no longer available

You’ll find these options under My Properties or the Home Icon in your dashboard.
